Horrible things said and done by Donald and his minions in September 2017

September saw another zombie Trumpcare bill rise in the Senate. The Administration stepped away from stronger building codes in hurricane-prone areas. Pro-pollution (and anti-environment) deregulation was high on the agenda. And Donald himself threatened nuclear war against North Korea in the UN General – a body that was specifically created to reduce the risk of a nuclear World War III.

Most damning of all, Donald’s response to Hurricane Maria was to ignore it before it struck, downplay how catastrophic the damage was until bad press forced his hand, deploy woefully few resources to help Puerto Rico’s 3.5 million American citizens, and to lash out at those pointing out his repeated failures with angry and racist tweets.

All in all, September was a bad month for American values and our global reputation.
