Establishing presidential precedents

The Declaration of Independence established that there is not divine right of governance.

The Constitution of the United States of America established that the President runs the government, but not the country.

George Washington established that a President was not a king.

Richard Nixon established that a President was not above the law.

Donald Trump seems to be trying to establish that widespread peaceful protests can drive a sitting President from office.
