Tournament of Rock: The 5280: Munly vs Wovenhand

TOR5280_banner

In round 2, match #5, Fiction 8 defeated Seraphim Shock and advances to the second round.

Our next musical smack-off features two of the archetypal purveyors of The Denver Sound. It’s a shame this had to happen in round two, but that’s the random draw for you.

Wovenhand

  • Alt-Country Goth, the current project of Denver Sound progenitor David Eugene Edwards.

VS

Munly

  • If Edwards is the godfather of the Denver Sound, Jay Munly (solo, Munly & The Lupercalians, Munly & The Lee Lewis Harlots, Denver Broncos UK, etc., in addition to his co-starring role in Slim Cessna’s Auto Club) is the defining artist of the movement’s second wave.
