2016 is going to be a banner year for Dem candidates if the GOP keeps this up….

No, by Clement’s argument, … actually, I’m not sure. Apparently, whether you can or should get married depends not only on your sexuality, but your dedication (and ability?) to planning.
I really would like to read his brief (try saying that in this context without having a sexual innuendo pop up!!) just to see what Grade A Pretzel Logic looks like. On the other hand, I’m made a little anxious by the idea. I tend to have allergic reactions when exposed to high levels of illogic.
Wow. According to that logic my husband and I are now gay.
The really sad part of this story is yet to be told. Wait till we see how many Supreme Court Justices vote to support his argument.
Maybe all the GOPers should get together and get their stories straight before rattling off at the mouth. Or better yet, just stop talking. I still haven’t recovered from the idiocy uttered before the election that “a womans body can reject rape”. Let’s not forget the congressional standstill that took $50 or more of everyones paycheck because they would rather think about giving themselves raises instead of working across party lines to help the greater good. While this news on their new stance on gays pisses me off it sure doesn’t surprise me. What. The. Fuck. My sentiments exactly.

Wow this is seriously a new low! Children deserve responsible parents, when will people realise that same sex couples can also provide this!? There are so many people out there who abuse there parental responsibilities.
It’s time to give people a chance.
I think it shows the GOP is truly scraping the bottom of the barrel. They just can’t except that they are losing the culture wars they started.
I love that they miss their own irony. If I put on my mystical mind-reading cap to try and get into their headspace, the best I can come up with is that unplanned and unintended offspring are essentially God acting in His miraculous, if mysterious, way. Ergo, to be gay and go through all that hubris-filled planning is to thwart God’s ability to cast a miracle their way.
Except, ummmm…wouldn’t *that* actually be the golden opportunity to perform a miracle worthy of our 24/7 news cycle?
