  1. This is another easy pod, it shouldn’t be close, but you never know. Obviously went with Floyd.

  2. Nothing against Santana. But had to go with Floyd.

Yes, seven British bands. And so many more could have been included!

    • So what have we learned? Two qualities are required to be a great rock artist. First, you must have been born no later than 1955. Second, you must be English.

Also, you must be male, I suppose.

  3. This competition makes me wish the Spanish Armada had been more competent. Damn Englishmen! (I mean, seriously, how do The Police beat out Bob Dylan? This competition was proven to be a massive farce with that one.)

    • leT: I agree that The Police over Dylan was unjust – and I say that as a massive Police fan. However, when it comes to injustices, that one may not even be in the top five in this tournament. At least The Police are a worthy top 16 seed.

  4. “Two qualities are required to be a great rock artist. First, you must have been born no later than 1955. Second, you must be English. Also, you must be male”

Is it wise to reveal the criteria behind your band selections for this tourney? 😉
