S&R @ the DNC: Come see us at Lime

We mentioned earlier that Scholars & Rogues is one of 124 blogs that have been credentialed to cover the upcoming Democratic National Convention in Denver. We’re pleased to announce that we’ve reached an agreement with our good friends at Lime – they’ll be our official home during the DNC.

If you’re new to Denver, Lime is one of the best places in town. Situated in the heart of Larimer Square, they feature some of the best upbeat Mexican cuisine in a city that’s known for its Mexican; the bar serves up the best mojito I’ve ever tasted; the patio is an ideal spot to relax with friends; and the bar/lounge scene is positively thumping later in the evening. Their second location, a few blocks south in the Governor’s Park neighborhood, is pretty happening, too.

To say we’re jacked about having Lime as our crashpad during the DNC is an understatement. If you’re going to be in town during the convention we hope you’ll stop by and see us, and while you’re there perhaps you can grab a bite or quench your thirst.

Also, in the coming days we’ll be launching What to Do in Denver When You’re at the DNC, a series of recommendations from those of us who live here on what to do and where to eat, relax and recreate. Denver is truly a spectacular city, and since so many of the S&R crew live here, we’re hoping we can help make your stay a more enjoyable one.

If you have questions or maybe even requests for things we can tell you more about, hit that contact above and let us know.

See you soon.

  1. Hahaha. I wish. D fest is in August, too. Nah, I have to be here playing ringmaster to the mouse circus. I think I may be dealing with subjects of a slightly higher IQ. haha. I’ll have to settle for being an e-groupie from here.
